Colas to roll out ANAIS digital service for the first time in the UK
As part of its multi-year motorway maintenance and response contract for Area 9 with National Highways, Colas Ltd, a subsidiary of Colas in the United Kingdom, will roll out the Anais service for a period of one year. Anais is a digital tool that promotes optimised preventive road asset management. This will be the first time that the Colas Group is deploying Anais outside of France and also the first time on a motorway network.

Inspiring Young Minds through Social Value Collaboration
In August, Colas hosted a community workshop at New Images Community Centre for the Winsford Youth & Community Forum, engaging with a group 7–11-year-olds attending summer holiday club in Winsford. In collaboration with local supply chain partners Thermal Road Repairs Limited, and L&R Roadlines a series of demonstrations and activities were presented to a group of 15-20 children, each designed to raise awareness about staying safe on the roads.

First live trials for Live Labs 2 Centre of Excellence for Decarbonising Roads
ADEPT Live Labs 2: Decarbonising Local Roads in the UK is a three-year, UK-wide £30 million programme, funded by the Department for Transport that aims to decarbonise the local highway network. Live Labs 2 includes seven projects, grouped by four interconnected themes, led by local authorities working alongside commercial and academic partners.
