Colas relocates to the West Midlands
Colas Ltd recently took the decision to relocate its headquarters from Sussex to the West Midlands, and the new offices were officially opened on 31st August 2021 by Frédéric Gardès, Chairman and CEO of Colas SA, and Olivier Roussat, CEO of Bouygues SA. They were joined on their visit to the new UK headquarters in Birmingham by Amelia Irion, the newly appointed Colas Group HR Director.
Carl Fergusson, CEO Colas Ltd said “I am delighted to have welcomed Frédéric Gardès, Amelia Irion and Olivier Roussat to the UK to open our new headquarters. The new location puts us in the heart of the UK, closer to more of our regional business activities and clients, and offers us the facilities and connectivity we need to support our ambitious future growth plans which we were pleased to share with our visitors.”
The Colas Ltd Executive Board took the decision in early 2021 to relocate the corporate headquarters to Birmingham as part of its long-term strategic growth plans and post-pandemic property review.
Colas believes such a move will bring many benefits to having its head office in a more central location within the UK, and at the same time has taken the opportunity to move to a building that provides a lower Carbon footprint and enhanced collaborative working facilities that better reflects the post-pandemic working environment .
The new HQ is located at Bishops Court, Birmingham Business Park and offers improved connectivity as well as the flexible modern business facilities required to support the company’s future growth plans.
